In this paper,the adsorption isotherm of physical chemistry is taken as an example to illustrate some problems existed on the linear fit of experimental data.The results show that the rationality of linear fit depends on not only the value of ｜R｜,but also the accuracy of processing data.Upon the hyperbolic equation which is similar to Langmuir adsorption isotherm,the single-reciprocal method instead of the usually double-reciprocal method is proposed.
