The theory of transformation of five minds into fire means that it may course the imbalances of yin, yang, qi, blood and zang-fu organs in the body when emotion is stimulated. The imbalance will course depression of qi movement and generation of internal fire. Inflammatory factors are different cytokines involving in inflammatory responses, and the inflammation is essentially an objective reflection of general struggle between human body and inflammatory factors. The authors have found out the correlation between transformation of five minds into fire and inflammatory factors and explored theoretical foundation through long time clinical observation and retrieving, referring to and summarizing relevant domestic and foreign literature.
