By means of observing the residents’ leisure activities in the case, the main leisure space in the rural communities was identified, and the four elements constituting the leisure space of rural communities was analyzed. Results showed that road and intersections, fitness squares, indoor and outdoor space of the stores, and the door space were the main leisure spaces in rural community; and having something to do, the opportunity to meet, good vision, and proper shelter were the four elements which constitute the leisure space of rural communities; The study also proved that spatial configuration had important influence on choosing of leisure space — ——the public leisure space was located around the maximum value of Visual Integration HH.
