In order to improve the efficiency of product design process,from the perspective of ＂product design process is also a product＂,reuse method of design process based on design process knowledge is proposed.Then,the flow of reuse of design process based on process knowledge is presented.The module component of process reuse system and its structure are demonstrated.An investigation of design process of heavy vehicle transmission proves that the method and the flow improve the effectiveness of transmission design process.The time to bring to transmission market is shortened,and transmission quality is also enhanced.
