During the research of specimens collected from inner Mongolia Autonomous Rigion and Jilin Province, three species of Geastrum, G. campestre, G. hungaricum and G. schweinitzii, were found for the first time in China. Morphologica characteristics of the three species were described; line drawings, photos, SEM images of spores and capillitium, and GenBank numbers of ITS sequence for each species are also provided.
