Based on the research of the programs of conservation of historic cities and towns, which are supported by NNSF from 1999 to 2008, this paper analyzes the domestic relevant academic course of researches in recent ten years, summarizes the emphases, hot points and development trends. It clearly comes up with the three-dimensional system for research work.
