This paper analyzes the risk structure of venture capital systematically which shows that the risk of venture capital consists of three main parts including environmental risk, investment risk and participant risk. In succession, the paper discusses the risk partaked mechanism of venture capital. The conclusions show that introducing interrelated depar- ments of governments, insurance corporation, mutual - aid association, business incubator and so on into venture capital can help to fully partake risk of venture capital, reduce economic loss incured by failure in equity investment for investors and exert the force of venture capital on promoting the development of high - tech industries.
