切屑折断预报是实现切屑控制的有效手段.运用等效参数的概念,将复杂的三维切削过程简化为二维切削过程;分析了三维槽型的几何单元对切屑的约束作用,推导出直线圆弧槽型、双直线圆弧槽型、凸曲面槽型和斜槽槽型的切屑上向卷曲半径;依据切屑折断条件建立了上向卷曲切屑折断预报模型.选取3种三维槽型刀片进行钢外圆车削的断屑试验.结果显示切屑折断范围与模型预报切屑折断范围基本一致,证明了切屑折断预报模型的合理性.
The equivalent parameter concept was used to simplify a complicated three-dimensional cutting process to a two-dimensional cutting process. The prediction model of chip up-curl radius was established by analyzing the chip restriction action of geometrical element in three-dimensional groove. The chip breaking predictive model was developed to predict the chip breaking behaviour in steel turning with grooved tools. The model was based on chip breaking conditions and equivalent parameter concept. Finally, to verify the model, three three-dimensional groove inserts were tested and their chip breaking areas were compared with those obtained from the model. The results showed the chip breaking predictive model was reasonable.
