Based on Zhi Ri in the Year of 27, Zhi Ri in the Year of 34 and Zhi Ri in the Year of 35 in Qin Bamboo Slips Stored in Yue Lu Academy, I, the author discusses their structure, contents, slips of the pen and common features, and makes a comparison with the corresponding records on Qin bamboo slips of Liye and Zhoujiatai. Summarizing their common features, studying them together with the simpli- fied representative calendars in the Han Dynasty and comparing them with Qin bamboo slips of Liye and those dug out in No. 30 Tomb of Zhoujiatai, the author makes an exploration about the structure, the a- voidance of the name of the First Emperor, lack of annotations and impractical quality of simplified calen- dars in Qin and Han Dynasty, and thus draws the conclusion that that Zhi Riin those three years in Qin Bamboo Slips Stored in Yue Lu Academy, I are neither practical calendars nor diaries, but official record- ing notebooks in the form of calendars.
