In 2008,our country started the recertifying work of high-tech enterprise,and issued the newly modified the Designation and Management of High and New Technology Enterprises,the High and New Tech Fields under the Key Support of the State,and related Work Instruction.The issue of these official documents marked a new era for development of high and new technology.This paper takes the Jiangsu Province as a case to study the innovation capability of the newly designated high and new technology enterprises in 2008.It analyzes the new designating method firstly,and studies the status of high and new technology enterprises.Based on the main research of the innovation capability,the paper proposes the countermeasures and suggestions to promoting the continuous development of newly designated high and new technology enterprises in Jiangsu Province.
