＂Excerpts of Mr. Cui Qingtian＇ s Oral History＂ records Mr. Cui Qingtian＇ s work on the history of Chinese logic and reflects his thoughts on Chinese logic. According to him, to explore the essentials of Chinese logic history, we should adopt ＂historic analysis＂ and ＂cultural explanations. The nature of Chinese logic should be ＂nomenclature＂ （Ming Xue） and ＂debate＂ （Bian Xue） ; Chinese logic inference should be ＂inference by analo- gy＂ （Tui Lei）. Hence, ＂historic analysis＂, ＂cultural interpretation＂, ＂Ming Xue＂, ＂Bian Xue＂ and ＂Tui Lei） constitute Mr. Cui＇s research on Chinese logic history.
