Despite a deficiency of factual logic in the traditional Chinese culture, it has a rich deposit of value logic. However, with the introduction of western learning to the east, many scholars have adopted the western approach in the reflections and critiques on a lack of logic theory in traditional Chinese culture. Fortunately, such scholars as Zhang Dongsun, Cui Qingtian and Ju Shi - er keenly realize the logic attributes of cultural relativity, defending the rationality of Chinese logic systematically. To understand and solve the logic problems in the contemporary development of traditional Chinese culture, we should meet the logic requirement in developing contemporary culture based on our cultural integrity, and explain what it is that causes an individual to make a logic choice. Also, we should try to differentiate theory from application in the research on logic, and ponder over how to promote the healthy development of contemporary Chinese culture with efforts of logic education.
