To solve the issues of lower resource utilization rate and higher cost of operation and maintenance in the current construction of university data center,we take the construction of cloud data center as the goal to meet the requirements of the digital campus and put forward a set of construction plan of data center based on cloud computing which is suitable for the application characteristics of universities.The cloud data center project in Lanzhou Jiaotong University is implemented based on the plan,and it effectively meets the requirements of the digital campus construction and significantly reduces operating cost of university informatization.
