Accepting the manufacturing outsourcing from foreign corporations can improve Chinese manufacturers＇ technical level, perfect their export mix and upgrading industrial concentration, thus optimizing the industrial structure. An empirical analysis was made with co-integration and Granger causality, and the results showed that accepting manufacturing outsourcing in Liaoning can increase industry output value and stimulate the development of tertiary industry such as transportation, communication and information industries. Therefore, accepting manufacturing outsourcing rationally will speed up the industrial structure upgrading in Liaoning.
