The method of electromagnetic sounding, especially controllable activating source electromagnetic sounding is widely used in probing the structure of the deep earth. Because the response of the electromagnetic field attenuates by the exponent with the depth, we can usually not get useful information about the deep earth. We tried a new model for the interpretation of the response of the electromagnetic field, and applied it to the actual survey data. We got an ideal result. It indicates that the model we selected is correct.
