An Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) machine for steel pipe's sample grooves was designed to satisfy for being carried in hand. In this plant, a single-chip microprocessor is applied to generate pulse, to deal with inputs from keyboard, to send ont alerts and to control a step-motor to supply automatic feed, and a separate dielectric fluid supply unit which can regulate dielectric flow rate is used to flush sludge. This plant is available for machining steel pipe's sample grooves in fieldwork.
