Seamus Heaney, a Northern Ireland poet, is consistently famous for profound ethical theories in his works. It is found that the creations of Heaney have been always kept with political sensitive feedback in different ethical environment. Meanwhile, the paper reveals the ethical dilemma based on his own experiences in the process of ethical selection and the determined ethical identities. In the process, Heaney has been changed from a life experience recorder, a soul exile to a purest poet, which corresponds with his seeking for a balance between his creations with artist principles.
