Eco-socialism focuses on social justice and uses it as an important method to analyze ecological problems, revealing that the essence of ecological problems lies on social justice, and the injustice of capitalist system is the root of the global ecological crisis. It suggests that social justice must be combined with ecological justice, and a just society with harmony among people, nature and the society itself must be built based on po-litical justice, economic justice and cultural justice, in order to solve the ecological crisis facing humanity and step into a just society. The social justice of eco-socialism has its theoretical defects, which keep it distant from scientific socialism, despite its inheritance of Marxist theory of fairness and justice and its positive significance in exploring the causes and the solutions to eco-problems.
