古希腊的公民教育以公民在城邦的政治生活中需要的品德为基本内容。指向人类总体生活的终极追求——幸福生活,体现出强烈的生存论关怀。它既是培育公民品德的政治实践活动,也是表达人的生存本性、体现对人类总体生活至善追求的道德实践。古希腊公民教育能够对当代公民品德培育提供诸多有益的启示:首先,人们的政治与公共生活应充满伦理情怀,需要进行道德辩护,警惕“去道德化”的政治与公共生活;其次,公民品德表达人的公共化存在方式,通达人的幸福生活,公民品德培育应当体现对人的生存关怀;再次,公民品德培育应注重德性的实践性,发挥个体习惯的道德力量;最后,公民品德培育是一个社会化的过程,应注重发挥社会各方主体的协同作用。
The ancient Grecian citizen education takes the moral character as the basic content of the citizens in the city state' s political life, pointing to the overall ultimate pursuit of human life - a happy life, which reflects a strong existential concern. It is not only the political practice cultivating citizen moral character, but also an expression of the nature of human existence. Ancient Grecian citizen education can provide much beneficial enlightenment to the contemporary citizen moral cultivation. First of all, people' s political and public life should be full of ethical feelings, the need for moral defense of vigilance "to moral" of the political and public life ; secondly, citizen moral expresses some existing way of the public, and pursues a happy life, and the citizens' moral cultivation should care for human survival. Moreover, citizen moral cultivation should pay attention to the practice of virtue, playing the moral power of the individual habits;and finally, citizen' moral cultivation, a process of socialization, should pay attention to the synergy of social parties to subjectivity.
