To study the CTI application in the Internet industry, the paper introduces the characteristics of the Intemet industry and the traditional model of CTI activities： the Herring model, and demonstrates that the Herring model as a convergence and obedience model can not be well applied to the Internet industry with the characteristic of non-continuous changes. Based on the Herring model, an evolutionary model of CTI process in the Internet industry with a divergence oriented early warning module is proposed in this paper, which is expected to provide a solution to the problem of the CTI workflow under the Internet industry environment.
