汉字一直是对外汉语教学的一个重点和难点。留学生觉得汉字难认、难写的一个重要原因是留学生汉字正字法意识还未完全形成。本研究以不同汉语水平和不同母语背景的留学生为被试,采用汉字判断任务和汉字书写任务研究了汉语水平与母语背景对留学生汉字正字法意识的影响。实验结果初步表明,随着汉语水平的提高,留学生汉字的正字法意识会得到相应的发展;当留学生汉语水平发展到一定程度后,母语背景对其汉字识别成绩的影响较小,而对其汉字书写成绩仍有较大影响。
Chinese characters play an important and difficult role in teaching Chinese-as-a- second-language. One of the main reasons is that foreign students are lack of Chinese orthographic awareness. With the tasks of word judgment and word writing, this study explored the effects of Chinese proficiency and native language background on foreign students' Chinese orthographic awareness. Results indicated that Chinese orthographic awareness in foreign students developed with the improvement of Chinese proficiency;however, when their Chinese proficiency reached a certain level, the influence of their native language background on Chinese character recognition become insignificant, while on Chinese character writing still was profound.
