Fulleropyrrolidine containing phenanthrene dyad was synthesized. The molecular structure was identified and characterized by ^1H NMR, ^13C NMR, FTIR and FAB-MS. The fluoresence emission spectra and fluoresence lifetime were measured in toluene. The lifetime of fluorescence was 7.47 ns under the largest emission wavelength. It was larger than the lifetime of C60(1.2 ns). The discrepancy came mainly from the charge transfer processes between thiophene and C60.
