Carbon doped LiFePO4 composite cathode materials were prepped by solid phase reaction. The samples were tested by XRD, SEM, laser particle size distributing electrochemical charge and discharge tests and A.C. impedance tests. The results showed that LiFePO4/C are simple pure olive-type. The carbon doparots can considerably improve its electrochemical performance. LiFePO4/C samples have smaller particle and even distribution. The samples have an initiate capacity of 141.8 mAh/g at 0.1 C, of which decreased 7.69% after 50 cycles. 6figs., 8refs.
