The automatic remot-metering management system on distribution side is an important technical support system for power marketing, and the core problem in its construction is on transmission channels. To meet the requirements of geographical decentralization, large amount of acquisition points, less data, quasi real-time mode of distribution networks, the data acquisition communication newrok was realized by the commercially available GPRS/CDMA wireless public network and was connected with the wirelss network operators with Access Point Name （APN）. The overall scheme of the communication platform construction is described, as well as the key technology on power distribution data transmission, and the channel operation is analyzed based on application in enterprises.
