地理学界关于教学与研究的关系有些研究,关于研究与出版、教学与出版的关系几乎没有研究,但人文地理学界对这两种关系没有什么研究。研究表明,教学与研究相互依赖,研究是教学的基础,教学是研究成果得以普及和传承的途径之一,还可能促进研究的深入。教学和研究的质量和水平与出版有相当的关系。教材建设需要引进足够的重视并根据成果写出,研究的理念需要拓展,需要培养问题意识、学术史意识、与同行对话的意识和理论意识,还应注意著述的学术规范。学术出版要坚持高标准,以品质为导向,兼顾经济效益和社会效益。
Compared with the researches on the relationship between teaching and research, less researches concern the relationship between "research and publishing", and "teaching and publishing" in Chinese geography academia. In fact teaching is interdependent related to research. Academic research is the base of col- lege teaching, while teaching is an important way to spread the research results and can contribute to research. The research results suggest that the quality and level of research and teaching are related to the publishing system. In order to improve the academic level of Chinese human geography, it is urgent to release the strict control of the academic journals. Due to the diversity of the demand for the human geography textbooks, dif- ferent related textbooks are still needed. The human geography textbooks should be written based on the clas- sic and contemporary publication of the discipline and according to the academic criteria. It is needed to en- hance the dialogue and communication to learn and respect each other among the researchers and teachers. It is urgent and necessary to extend our disciplinary vision and philosophies. In order to take part in the world competition of academy, it is necessary to strengthen the consciousness of academic history, dialogue, theo- retic problem and academic norms, to make our researches problem-oriented and theory-oriented, have e- nough local bases, and make original findings. The leading Chinese geographical journals publish very limit- ed pedagogic research papers. The attention paid to the pedagogic research and textbook writing by Chinese human geographers is limited compared to the Western counterparts. Such a situation may have negative effect to the healthy development of the discipline.
