The ＂Cotsen Walking into the Classroom＂ program of Princeton University Library makes use of its own special collections and sends librarians to teach minors ih,community schools which shows the social responsibility of university libraries. This program designs different courses for minors of different ages in community schools. These courses cover different subjects and refer to relevant educational standards. This piogriam gives some enlightenment to university libraries In China serving minors in communities in following four aspects： the service method, the course design, the reading promotion and the information literacy education.
