The rise of MOOC overturns the traditional mode of education,and brings great opportunities and challenges to the academic libraries. This article introduces the modes of MOOC and their advantages and discusses how MOOC influences information literacy education and how to carry out blended learning mode of information literacy education for academic libraries based on the elaboration of the development of information literacy education and combining with the experiences of information literacy education of foreign libraries. 11 refs.
