Since the digital integrated circuit (IC) design is a very practical work, a computer EDA lab is designed whose content and ditticulty are appropriate for an IC beginner. The EDA lab covers the whole digital IC design flow. With the help of the script, the EDA lab will take about 4 or 6 class hours. After finishing the lab in the computer, the student can comprehend the theoretical knowledge in a straight way, and gain the digital IC design ability. Therefore, the initiative and creativeness of the student are stimulated and a good effect is obtained in the EDA lab.
