Objective To detect the effect of CFD1 deletion yeast strain on the replicative life span. Methods The CFD1 deletion yeast strain was constructed using gene homologous recombination, and the replicative life span was determined by light microscopy. Results The replicative life span showed no significant difference between CFD1 deletion and wide type yeast strains（27.27 vs 29.29, P〉0.05）. Conclusion The CFD1 deletion has no impact on the replicative life span of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
