English Public Speaking is an interpersonal and social communicative activity, reflecting the speakers’linguistic competence and integrated ability. This paper discusses the importance of English Public Speaking and analyses how English Public Speaking im proves students integrated language ability, including speaking, listening, reading and writing. It further discusses the important role that English Public Speaking plays in English language teaching and how English Public Speaking can be effectively applied in English teaching.
