Objective ：This paper mainly discussed what the value of measurement error of the TCM symptom scale of perim- enopausal period syndrome （PPS） was. Methods ： We analyzed the relative of cumulating score of symptom and calculated the measurement error size between two measurements. Results ：There were 55 patients who got the same diagnosis by the TCM symptom weighted score method and the doctors＇ experience in the 156 patients. There were 47 patients measured twice,and the relative coefficient was 0. 98 （P 〈 0. 0001 ）. After hypothesis tested, there was no difference （ t = 0. 20, P = 0. 85 ） in these 47 cases. Both the value of measurement error（0.44） and variance coefficient （ 1.32% ） is low. Conclusion ： After evaluated, the test-retest reliability of the TCM symptom scale of PPS is high.
