Slow City is a new urban model that originated in Italy less than a decade ago, and has formed an international global network of cities-International Association of CittaSlow＇. There has been a set of typical slow cities abroad. However, in China, it is relatively blank in the theory and city construction of slow cities. The paper deeply introduces slow city and slow city movement abroad, and selects several representative slow cities in various countries of Europe, and proposes some enlightenment for the urban development of China.
