Cervical cancer which has seriously affected women＇ s life quality is female＇s common malignant tumor. The human papillomavirus is main pathogenesis factor of cervical cancer. Recently researches find there are intimate relation between p53 codon 72 polymorphism and cervical cancer. Now we mainly summarize the research progress of the polymorphism in the mechanism of cervical cancer.
