技术轨道理论为企业技术创新路径选择提供了重要启示,但实践中存在的“创新路径多样性”对其提出了挑战。构建了“市场轨道”概念模型,并通过美国苹果公司的创新案例研究论证和剖析了市场轨道的存在及其所对应的创新路径。基于市场需求的动态演化特性,以满足新需求、打开新市场为导向的创新路径是新“市场轨道”创立的结果。“市场轨道”概念模型拓展了技术轨道理论,总结了基于需求导向和利用市场机会进行创新的演化规律,可以丰富企业的创新路径选择空间。
