This article takes Amsterdam as an example,from five aspects——smart living,smart working,smart mobility,smart economy,and data open to explain how to carry out the construction of smart city in Amsterdam.By summarizing the development features and extracting the construction of advanced concepts and development experience,we can know construct the smart city,it is necessary to adhere to the people-oriented and in under the guidance of the government to encourage the public to actively participate in,and at the same time consider both software and hardware infrastructure co-construction so that we can carry out special city planning according to the characteristics of the city.
