Service orientations not only increase the manufacturer's profits, but also create an opportunity to improve innovation performance. According to resource-based theory, this study constructed a theoretical model which explores how manufacturers take advantage of service orientations to interact with customers and then affect the innovation performance. Tbc resuits provide guideline for manufacturers who will use service business to improve innovation performance.
