城市中不同街区的＂城市角色＂扮演着城市的特定历史与文化,是人们了解城市、认知街区、体验生活的主角。成吉思汗大街作为呼和浩特市北部发展主轴,承载着城市重要功能与文化内涵,其空间特征、景观节点、街道界面具有一定特殊性。笔者在研究街道整体特征的基础上,对成吉思汗东街角色、定位、特征和营造进行具体研究,以阐明特色街区空间认知的切入点。

Different streets and blocks carried the special history and culture of the city that were the main characters for people to understand the city, cognize the streets and experience the Jife. As the Northern developing main shaft in Hohhot, Genghis Khan Street carried important function of the city and the cultural connotation. Its spatial characteristics, landscape nodes and street interface had a certain particularity. On the basis of studying the whole characteristics of the street, this study investigated the Street role, localization, feature and construction of the East Genghis Khan Street, to clarify the starting point of spatial cognition for special streets.
