This paper explains advantages and importance of bilingual teaching of mechanical major.Meanwhile,difficulties and problems existing in bilingual teaching in mechanical design and the improvement measures are analyzed.Several measures of solving problems such as enhancing the level of teacher,changing the form and content of teaching,and establishing a comprehensive evaluation system are summarized.
