Stimulated by retinoic acid gene 8 （ Stra8 ） gene expression developmental stage featured , which only expresses in reproductive cells before meiosis,and moves back and forth in the cytoplasm and nucleus of germ cells.Retinoic acid is a kind of metabolite of vitamin A.Retinoic acid can promote reproduc-tive cells Stra8 gene expression.Spermatogenesis stagnation, germ cell degeneration, male infertility are observed in vitamin A deficient mice.The research for Stra8 expression regulation is mainly focused on the mechanism of interaction with retinoic acid,while the molecular regulation mechanism of Stra8 in spermato-genesis has not been fully elucidated.
