基于人力资本理论和信号筛选理论,本文利用全国85所高校学生调查数据建立计量回归模型,研究了院校层次与学生能力增值的关系。研究发现:在总体能力、创新能力和非认知技能方面一般本科高校对学生能力的增值效应大于重点高校,而在同一层次大学中不同学科专业学生的能力增值存在差异。
Based on the human capital theory and screening theory, the paper studies the relationship between college types and students' value-added assessment by using a national college survey of 85 colleges and an OLS regression model. The paper finds that the key universities have less value-added influences on students' overall ability, innovation and non- cognitive ability; those students who major in humanities or engineering in non- key universities improve their ability more significandy than those from key colleges.
