Based on a brief discussion about the strategic context of big data and its value to open innovation, the paper examines how it changes the service concepts, pattern and methods of Competitive Technical Intelligence ( CTI) Analysis. Then, the paper explores how to respond to the big data world for CTI. In order to expand the closed system function of CTI, the paper recommends that crowd sourcing modes be applied to construct intelligent, semantic, multidimensional CTI analysis model owing to wide open source of big data, enhance-ment of the information capacity of the public and remarkable inclination of social collaboration.
