采用助熔剂自发成核法,以Li2CO3-2MoO3为助熔剂,生长出了Yb∶NdPO4晶体。通过X射线粉末衍射和X射线能谱技术对所得的晶体进行了表征。结果表明,少量Yb3+掺入到了NdPO4晶体中,但并未改变NdPO4晶体的晶格结构。比较了Yb∶NdPO4晶体和NdPO4晶体室温下的透过光谱。测量了室温下晶体的荧光光谱,泵浦光波长为332 nm。结果表明晶体的最强荧光发射峰位于995 nm,归属于Yb3+从激发态2F5/2到基态2F7/2的电子跃迁。1059 nm的发射峰归属于Nd3+从4F3/2到4I11/2的电子跃迁。Nd3+的发射峰强度较弱,表明在室温下晶体中主要发生了Nd3+→Yb3+的能量传递。
Yb: NdPO4 crystals were grown by a spontaneous nucleation method using Li2 CO3-2MoO3 as flux. The as-grown crystals were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction(XRPD) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS). The results show that the as-grown crystals were well crystallized and some YD3+ were doped in the crystals. The transmittance spectra of the as-grown crystal and NdPO4 crystal were compared. The fluorescence spectrum of as-grown crystal was also measured pumped at 332 nm at room temperature. The strongest fl peak locates at 995 nm, which can be attributed to the 2F5/2→2F7/2 emission band of Yb3+. The peak locating at 1059 nm corresponds to the 4F3/2→I11/2 emission band of Nd3 +. The results indicate there should be energy transfer from Nd3+ to Yb3+ at room temperature.
