Two chiral P, N-ligands were synthesized in high yields from natural quinine and cinchonine under mild conditions. The catalytic activities and enantioselectivities of their Pd-complexes were assessed in asymmetric aUylic alkylation. For these two chiral ligands, in the reaction of 1, 3-diphenylprop-2-en-1-yl acetate with dimethyl malonate, moderate enanfioselectivities were obtained( up to 73.5% e. e. ).
