The reaction kinetics between methyl acrylate and diethanolamine was studied.By tracking the characteristic absorption peak changes of methyl acrylate at 1640 cm-1 with React IR IC10 online infrared spectrometer,the optimum reaction time of N,N -dihydroxyethyl -3-amino acid methyl ester was 2 h,the reaction order was second and the apparent activation energy was 36.9588 kJ/mol.
