With China＇s rapid economic and social development, as well as the rising social issues resulting to unbal- anced development, a branch of politics centered on the relations between democracy and people＇s livelihood shared-de- velopment politics has emerged. The rising of shared-development politics is an adaption to the innate demand of the rapid development of China＇s economy and society,enriching the connotation of traditional political science with brand new theoretical forms. Shared-development politics is concerned with a multitude of social issues, yet the core questions remain the same ：What is development in the real sense？ Why should we emphasize comprehensive development？ Who should own the results of development？ How to maintain sustainable development？ By centering on the relationship between democracy and people＇s livelihood, shared-development politics will disentangle the complex relations between freedom and equality, de- mocracy and patriotism, wealth and ability, participation and rights, as well as other issues in economic and social develop- ment. It can promote political, economic and social development with its rich theoretical and practical logic.
