Currently, there are more than 40 countries in the development of agricultural insurance in the world. The agricultural insurance development model of the United States is undoubtedly the world＇ s most representative system model. In USA, the improvement of its legislation, flexible forms, wide insurance coverage and so on, provide a guarantee for the development of agricultural insurance. More importantly, the innovative ideas for the development of agricultural insurance, provide sustained momentum. There is a huge gap between, the development of agricultural insurance in China and the United States, but the U. S. provides us with a number of practices that can be used as reference for decision - making.
