First we introduce the coneept of the opportunistic network and its basic theory, including the opportunistic net- work architecture, communication mode, as well as some elassic routing protocols, and then analyze the basic principle and the concept of tile network coding. We also put the main emphasis on the description of linear network coding method and some efficient routing protocols based on it. At last the future developments of eoding-based opportunistie network routing prntoeol are prospected.
