Based on design patent authorization number,labor productivity in manufacturing in Jiangsu and methods of time series econometrics,the relationship between industrial design and manufacturing are researched.The results show that,the industrial design and manufacturing have the mutually promoting relationship,in which the development of industrial design to manufacturing industry growth is significant and the reverse is not significant.
