微小RNA(microRNA,mi RNA)是一类长度为19~25 nt的单链非编码RNA,研究发现其具有多种生物学功能,调控大多数的细胞生物学进程。随着研究的深入,miRNA的功能及其调控网络也得到了进一步的认识。miR-125a是最近研究较多的mi RNA,其主要作为抑癌基因发挥抑制肿瘤生长、转移的作用。本文简要综述了miR-125a与相关疾病的研究进展,以期全面了解miR-125a的生物学功能及作用靶点,为miR-125a的临床应用提供理论依据。
micro RNA(mi RNAs) is short non-coding RNA molecules with length of 19~25 nt. Previous studies find that it has a variety of biological functions, and it regulates most cell process. With further research on mi RNAs, more and more functions have been discovered and characterized. mi R-125 a is a hot point of mi RNAs researches, and it works as a tumor suppressor to inhibit growth and metastasis of tumor cell. This review focuses on the advances in mi R-125 a functions and related diseases, which will helP〈0us fully understand the biological function and target of mi R-125 a, in order to provide theoretical basis for the clinical application of mi R-125 a.
