Objective ： To study the protective effects of supercritical extraction obtained from Schisandra chinensis ior the survival condition and vigor of PC12 cells damaged by Aβ 25 - 35. Methods ： The PC cells were cultured in vitro. An AD cell model about cell damage caused by Aβ was established. The survival condition and vigor of PC12 cells were de- tected by using the MTT and LDH methods. Results： Supercritical extraction of Schisandra Chinensis could reduce the concentration of LDH and increased the activity of mitochondria dehydrogenase of PC12 cells. The amount of living PC12 cells increased. Conclusion： The extent of injury of Aβ 25 -35 damaged PC12 cells can be relieved and the cell mem- brane can also be protected by using supercritical extraction of Schisandra Chinensis. The extraction is good for impro- ving the survival condition and vigor of PC12 cells.
